Marcello

From Removable Dentures to Fixed Implant-Retained Bridge

Marcello came to us after many years spent with a removable prosthesis. Although he tried to adapt, everyday discomfort, insecurity in chewing and aesthetic deficiency increasingly affected his quality of life. His wish was clear: a smile that would not have to be hidden and a function that would allow him to eat freely and comfortably without pain.

  • Zirconium-oxide ceramic on a titanium framework

After the first examination and detailed diagnostics, including an analysis of the smile solution and the amount of remaining bone, we made the decision to extract the remaining teeth and switch to fixed with implants.

Marcello began therapy in the upper jaw, where we installed 5 implants and immediately after the procedure, created a fixed temporary bridge. Just a few hours after the procedure, Marcello had temporary fixed teeth with which he could function normally. A month later, the same procedure was performed on the lower jaw. This approach allowed Marcello to have stable, functional teeth in both jaws in the shortest possible time, which was of utmost importance to him. After six months of healing and stabilization of the implants, we fabricated a permanent prosthetic work made of zirconium-oxide ceramic with a titanium base.

This ensured high strength, durability and superior aesthetics that perfectly fit Marcello's facial features. The result is a smile that is not only aesthetically appealing, but also fully functional. Marcello expressed great satisfaction with the results achieved and emphasized how much his new smile has changed his everyday life. Now he can chew without pain again, laugh without hesitation and fully enjoy every day.
